Guided Tour

The Friends of The Bowes Museum offer a free introductory tours which last between 45 minutes and one hour. Please book two weeks in advance to ensure availability.

Specialist Lectures & Gallery Talks

The Bowes Museum has a team of Curators and Conservators responsible for exhibiting and preserving different aspects of the collection. These dedicated members of staff are available to give lectures or gallery tours on their specialist subject and on some exhibitions which they have curated. Lectures are charges on an hourly basis of £60. To ensure availability please book lectures as early as possible. Lectures are available Monday to Friday and are listed below.
