The acclaimed Café Bowes is under going refurbishment and will re-open in February 2009. The new enlarged Café Bowes will comtinue to serve its high quality fare, featuring locally produced food. Table service will be introdueced, making a visit an even more relaxed dining experience. As well as serving its accliamed lunch meny, homemade cakes and scones, there will be special menus available on celebrations such as Mother's Day, and selected evening events to mark exhibition openings and other suitable occasions.

A temporary refreshment area is in place in the reception area for the next two weeks until it can be moved into the grand Jubilee Room.

Will be open everyday from 10.00 (11.00 Sunday) to 4.30. Closed only 25, 26 December and 1 January.
